Come and explore traditional African dance and another culture. This workshop is led by Sakoba Dance Theatre, one of the most pioneering African based dance companies still operating in the UK today. DANCE CUMBRIA SUMMER RESIDENTIAL 2009

Dance Cumbria Summer Residential aims to find and nurture talented and motivated young people who are passionate about dance, to increase both their dance and leadership skills.
Dance Cumbria Summer Residential is the local gateway to Youth Dance England’s Stride (Young Dance Entrepreneur Programme) and the North West’s new Centre for Advanced Training.
This week-long residential will provide a valuable insight into life as a dance professional. You will learn dance technique, choreographic and performance skills, and make many new friends along the way. The week will be led by a dedicated team of visiting and local dance practitioners and youth workers.
